Noon Shadows

I was looking through some old video footage from our shadow investigation. The work went on over a few months. We had many conversations, observed outside day after day, built models, and used an indoor light labratory to try to answer the question, "Do shadows disappear at noon?" Enjoy a small glimps into the process.

ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous - the way the kids worked through the problem and used their observations to come up with new hypotheses was just the sort of learning we want to see in science at Sabot. Then to go inside and recreate the real life situation with a model to test their hypotheses was brilliant. This is absolutly the way to learn how to be a scientist...bravo!!
